The Apollo Concept overhead projector I got has a 10.5" stage, but The LCD screen from my old Dell Inspiron laptop is a 14.1" 1024x768 display. So to see everything on the screen, it needs to be run at a lower res and not be scaled to fit. I am running the display at 900x400. A other thing is that this laptop LCD screen uses LVDS so I needed a LVDS driver board with the same connector, luckily I had one from a broken 15" LCD monitor.

I got the Apollo Concept overhead projector from HGR for $14.
I had everything else needed so the total cost to make this was $14+time
